FAQ: Olympiad Integrity
- What steps do you take to ensure the integrity of the Olympiads?
In order to ensure the integrity of the Olympiad contests, APSMO Inc has the following conditions:- Olympiads must be conducted in examination conditions.
- Olympiad question papers are not provided to schools until the week of the contest date and must not be opened until the scheduled Olympiad date.
- Students are not to have access to the Olympiad questions, answers or solution methods prior to sitting the Olympiad.
- PICOs are strictly prohibited from teaching to the upcoming Olympiad questions (eg by providing sample questions that are similar to those in the upcoming Olympiad).
- APSMO Inc reserves the right to re-examine students prior to granting official status to submitted results.
