APSMO History
- The APSMO Mathematical Olympiads have been operating in Primary Schools since 1987 and in High Schools since 2003.
- APSMO Inc. is a not-for-profit organisation incorporated in NSW on 5 September 1996.
- The organisation's original name was 'Mathematical Olympiads for Primary Schools (MOPS)'.
- Until 2007 the incorporation's name was 'Australian Primary Schools Mathematical Olympiads Inc.'
- A special resolution was passed at our 2007 AGM to change the organisation's name to 'Australasian Problem Solving Mathematical Olympiads (APSMO) Inc' to better describe the organisation.
- The incorporation name was officially changed on 14 February 2007.
